Both tutorials demonstrate using 1mm satin cord and it also teaches you how to make a button and loop closure using a shank button.
They are both intermediate projects that achieve an intricate result using only the square knot and being familiar with the square knot is recommended. A macrame board is recommended to help make the bracelet, but other ways can be used if this is not available. E6000 glue is also used to finish off the bracelets.
